Effective date: 30 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MINIX Switzerland / Varga Collective processes personal data when you visit minixswitzerland.com, place an order, contact us, use a customer account, subscribe to marketing, or otherwise interact with us.

Varga Collective / MINIX Switzerland
Proprietor: Flóra Antónia Varga

Email: info@minixswitzerland.com
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the shop, we may process identity and contact data; order and transaction data; payment-related data; customer-service correspondence and photographs you send; customer-account data; marketing subscription and campaign-interaction data; and technical/usage data such as IP address, browser/device information, cookie or similar identifiers, page interactions and technical logs.
3. Purposes
We process personal data to operate the shop; process and deliver orders; handle payments and refunds; prevent fraud; manage returns, complaints and defect claims; provide customer support; maintain customer accounts; send transactional communications; send permitted marketing; improve performance, usability and security; and comply with legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests, or be based on consent where required.
4. Shopify
The store is operated using Shopify. Shopify provides hosting, checkout, customer-account, order-management and related e-commerce infrastructure and may process personal data on our behalf or as otherwise described in Shopify’s privacy documentation. Shopify and its service providers may process data outside Switzerland; where required, appropriate safeguards are used.
5. Payments
Payment methods available at checkout may be provided by Shopify and/or third-party payment providers. The provider selected by you receives the information needed to authorise and process the payment and applies its own privacy terms where relevant. MINIX Switzerland does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.
6. Shipping
To deliver orders, we share necessary recipient, address and shipment information with shipping providers. We currently use Swiss Post and the Shopify app Swiss Post Labels for shipping-related administration.
7. Email marketing and Klaviyo
We currently use Klaviyo for email marketing and related communication functions. Where you subscribe to marketing or marketing is otherwise permitted, Klaviyo may process contact information, subscription status, order-related information and campaign-interaction information to send, personalise and measure communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us.
8. Shopify apps and service providers
We use Shopify apps and service providers to support administration, localisation, workflow automation, customer messaging and storefront functionality. Current installed services include Shopify Messaging, Translate & Adapt, Shopify Flow, Section Store, Swatch King and Rubik Combined Listings, in addition to the shipping and marketing providers described above. These providers process data only to the extent made available through their role and permissions and for the relevant store function.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Shopify and integrated services may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as security, checkout, language preferences, customer sessions and shopping-cart functionality. Analytics or marketing technologies may also be used where enabled.
At the time of this policy, our Shopify configuration does not show a custom server pixel, and we do not currently have dedicated Meta or TikTok advertising apps installed. If we later enable additional advertising or profiling technologies, we will update the relevant notices and consent/choice mechanisms as required.
You can control cookies through your browser and any privacy controls presented by the store. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the shop from working correctly.
10. Recipients
We disclose personal data only where needed for the purposes described here. Recipients can include Shopify and e-commerce infrastructure providers, payment providers, Swiss Post and other delivery providers, Klaviyo and other communication providers, technical/security/storefront service providers, professional advisers, and authorities where disclosure is legally required.
We do not sell customer personal data to advertisers.
11. International transfers
Some providers, including Shopify and Klaviyo, may process data outside Switzerland. Where Swiss law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on legally recognised mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards or another permitted basis.
12. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, tax, warranty, dispute-resolution and security requirements. Retention periods therefore differ by data type. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed, subject to reasonable suppression records used to respect an opt-out.
13. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions of applicable Swiss data-protection law, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion or destruction where appropriate, objection to certain processing, restriction in appropriate cases, and data portability where applicable.
To exercise a privacy right, contact info@minixswitzerland.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
15. Children
Our products are intended for children, but the online shop is directed at purchasers and we do not intentionally request personal data directly from young children for marketing purposes.
16. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on the website with an updated effective date.
17. Languages
This Privacy Policy may be provided in several languages. The German version is intended to prevail in the event of differences, to the extent legally effective and without limiting mandatory rights.
